Inspired by lively marine life forms, the design will create a serene atmosphere that seems too perfect for this world.
The use of simulated bioluminescence light will enhance the sense of immersion, wonder, calmness, euphoria, and tranquility through oceanic inspired textiles. Playful patterns, translucency, natural light, and water features, will enhance the serene atmosphere adding a touch of wonder and escapism.

Design Notes:
Interactive flooring artificially simulates bioluminescence light that is typically found in the deep sea. This immersive aspect of the design allows for the young patients to be playful while not exerting too much energy while they spend most of their day here in the infusion center.
Changes in flooring guide patients through the space, aiding navigation.
The nurse station is positioned for clear visibility of all infusion stations to ensure patient safety and efficient monitoring.
A textured ceiling with a water ripple design adds visual interest and helps with wayfinding.
The nurse station has easy access to the kitchenette, soiled utility room, mail room, clean linen storage, and medication room, streamlining workflow.
These support rooms are connected to a dedicated service hallway for staff, ensuring efficient operations without disturbing patients.
